La Dame Aux Oeillets - The Lady With Carnations
17 octobre 2012 - Boulevard Confédération de Russie, Phnom Penh. Le cercueil de Norodom Sihanouk (appelé le Roi Père) arrive de Pékin, où il est décédé deux jours plus tôt, et traverse la ville. La foule s'est massée de l'aéroport au Palais Royal et a attendu son passage durant de longues heures pour saluer son cercueil et sa mémoire. Les gens portent des tenues blanches (couleur du deuil) et noires et ont sorti des drapeaux cambodgiens ou des photos du défunt. La tristesse se mêle souvent à la joie d'être là.

The crowd gathered all along the road from the airport to the Royal Palace and has waited for hours to see the coffin and pay tribute. People wore white ( the colour of mourning) and black clothes and came with flags or the deceased's photos. The sadness was often mixed with the joy to be there.
